Mirabelle Morah

Communications Intern

Mirabelle Morah is a Communications Intern at Salzburg Global Seminar. As a member of the communications team, her responsibilities include writing feature stories and news articles. She also interviews participants during programs  and helps run the organization’s social media pages and online platforms. Mirabelle is the editorial and communications  head of BlankPaperz Media, an award-winning project and platform she founded to amplify the voices and stories of young African writers. She’s also a Nigerian country representative for a Chatham House project that seeks to foster key policy dialogues between young people in Africa and Europe. Before joining Salzburg Global, Mirabelle volunteered with several NGOs in Nigeria. She has also spoken at different international events about youth development, education, gender equality, and the power of storytelling. Mirabelle has been honored  as a 2018 Global Teen Leader and as an Ashoka Change-maker. She obtained her B.A in English and literary studies  from the University of Calabar, Nigeria. She also studied social entrepreneurship (and civic leadership) at California State University Chico, under the Study of the U.S Institutes (SUSI) for Student Leaders.
