Philine Kruse

Program Intern

Philine Kruse is a Program Intern at Salzburg Global Seminar in Salzburg, Austria. She works with the Program Team and assists in the preparation and execution of programs in the form of research and administrative support. Before joining Salzburg Global in January 2019, Philine volunteered as a teacher for adult refugees on Leros, Greece with the Austrian NGO Echo100Plus. She also pursued her strong interest in political feminism and East African politics by interning with Resonate Ltd., a social enterprise located in Kigali, Rwanda, which offers leadership workshops for disadvantaged East African girls and women. Moreover, Philine researched feminist approaches to foreign policy during her internship at the German Parliament at the office of Niels Annen, Minister of State at the Federal Foreign Office in Berlin, Germany. She graduated in July 2018 with a B.A. in international relations from Royal Holloway, University of London.
