Michael Forsman is an associate professor in media and communication studies at Södertörn University, Stockholm, Sweden. His research includes Swedish broadcasting history, popular culture, advertising, youth and media, media and information literacy, children and social Media. He is engaged in the research project "Media Citizenship and the Mediatization of School: Curricula, Educational Materials, Teachers" and works with media and information literacy within teacher education.
