Violetta Tsitsiliani is the founder of the cultural initiative 'The Language Project,' which has organized several workshops and events with Greek and international partners. She has worked as a freelance translator and coordinator in cultural projects. Currently, she is rapid response translation Greek team leader at Translators Without Borders. She is an alumna of the R. Bosch Stiftung and a scaling award winner of the 'StART - Create Cultural Change' program, as well as a member of the 'ChangeMakerExchange' Forum of Ashoka and 'FurtureLab Europe' Forum of the Network of European Foundations. Her main academic interests focus is on creative industries and professional practices in Greece. She is a member of national and international translation associations, as well as a board member of the International Visual Sociology Association. Violetta studied translation at the Department of Foreign Languages Translation and Interpreting at Ionian University and holds a master's degree in cultural management from Panteion University.
