Rajmonda Sylbije is the executive director at the Centre for Equality and Liberty. The main focus of her work within the organization she leads is to empower the LGBT community in Kosovo, raise awareness among the general population regarding LGBT issues as well as to advocate and lobby for the implementation of the existing laws in Kosovo. She is a frequent speaker at various trainings and conferences at the national, regional and international level, presenting the LGBT situation in Kosovo. Ms. Sylbije is a member of the advisory and coordination group for the LGBT community in Kosovo within the Office for Good Governance. She is active in the field of the protection and promotion of LGBT rights, and is one of the few publicly outed LGBT activists in Kosovo. Ms. Sylbije holds a B.A. in business management and economy.
