Greg Medcraft is currently chair of the Australian Finance Group Ltd a leading listed financial services group in Australia and independent non-executive director of the Digital Finance Co-operative Research Centre, an Australian based research organization jointly funded by government, industry and universities focused on digital finance - Global Blockchain Business Council - digital finance , a UK based global market standards and education industry group, and Salzburg Global Seminar Inc, a Washington based think-tank. He also acts as senior board adviser to Infraclear Inc, a Washington based fintech, MNK Capital, a Paris based property finance and fund manager. Greg is a former director of the OECD, former chair and commissioner of the Australian Securities and Investments Commission, former managing director at Societe Generale, and former Mayor in cities in Melbourne and Sydney. Greg is a doctor of business (Honoris Causa), holds a bachelor's degree in commerce and is a chartered accountant. He is a Fellow of Salzburg Global Seminar.
