Rosanna Wong

Executive Director, Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups

Dame Rosanna Wong is a Hong Kong social work administrator and politician, who has served as executive director of the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups since 1980. She now leads the Federation's initiative to establish Hong Kong's first Institute for Leadership Development in 2016, in collaboration with the University of Hong Kong. Since 2003, she has been a Hong Kong member of the CPPCC National Committee of the People's Republic of China: her earlier positions have included unofficial membership of the Legislative Council and of the Executive Council, chairperson of the Hong Kong Housing Authority and chairperson of the Education Commission. Dame Rosanna serves as a non-executive director of the Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation and of Sir Ka-shing Li's Cheung Kong Holdings, and is president of the Hong Kong Schools Music and Speech Association; president of the English Speaking Union, Hong Kong; a director of the board of the Dragon Foundation; and the chairperson of World Vision Hong Kong. She received a degree in social work from the University of Hong Kong and a master's degree in social work from Toronto.
