Enrique Avogadro has been minister of culture of Buenos Aires since December 2017. He is the former deputy minister of culture of Argentina and, was previously undersecretary of creative economy at the City of Buenos Aires. He is convinced that arts and culture are a tool for development and he is committed to expanding access to culture as a way to promote a stronger citizenship. He leads and organization that encompasses a wide range of cultural venues and international festivals and that is putting forward innovative cultural public policies. Enrique has a long experience as a civil servant in the creative economy policy field.
