Victoria B. Mars

Chairman, Salzburg Global Seminar; Director, Mars Incorporated

Victoria B. Mars is a member of the Board of Directors for Mars, Incorporated. She is a fourth generation member of the Mars family whose great-grandfather, Frank C. Mars, founded the company in 1911. In her 40 years at Mars, she has held diverse roles ranging from her first role as Assistant Brand Manager in Haguenau, France, to vice president of Services and Finance, Commercial, and People and Organization for Dove International. She also developed and led the Mars Ombudsman program, which for the last 20 years has provided Mars associates with the opportunity to address work-related issues with a neutral third party in a confidential and informal manner. Ms. Mars has served on the Mars Board of Directors since 2006, including acting as Chairman of the Board from 2014 to 2017. She currently sits on the Board's Remuneration and Talent and Benefit Funding and Investment Oversight Committees. She is a past recipient of the Heineken Award and the Ambassador Wilkins Award. She is also the recipient of the Order of Sergey Radonezhsky. In 2017, she was a guest lecturer as part of the Gordon Grand Fellowship Series at Yale University and received the Joseph Wharton Award for Leadership. She is the Chairman of the board of Salzburg Global Seminar.
