Al Mulley - "I Have Found Salzburg to Be a Wonderful Place to Cross Contexts and Borders"

Health program veteran discusses patient-centeredness and why he keeps coming back to Salzburg

Al Mulley speaking at Session 548 | The Promise of Data: Will this Bring a Revolution in Health Care?

Al Mulley has become a very familar face at Schloss Leopoldskron. In March he returned to Salzburg for his sixth "Health and Health Care in the 21st Century" session since attending Session 477 as a faculty member in December 2010.

Over subsequent years the Dartmouth Center for Health Care Delivery Science, where he is director, has become one of a number of returning session partners, while Mulley himself has served as a session co-chair.

While participating in Session 548 | The Promise of Data: Will this Bring a Revolution in Health Care?, Mulley spoke to Salzburg Global about what more developed health care systems can learn from the rest of the world, the importance of patient-centeredness and why working with South African miner Vama Jele at our Universal Health Coverage session in 2013 is his favourite Salzburg memory.
