SALZBURG GLOBAL LAW AND TECHNOLOGY FORUM

Upcoming Program

Mar 29 - Mar 31, 2020

Finding Common Ground on Law Enforcement, Cybersecurity and Cyberwarfare

Session 648

Overview

Technological innovation is fundamentally disrupting society, commercial sectors, and traditional spheres of governance. These changes create grey areas that have unmoored policy, law, and regulation, crossing traditional borders between different stakeholders and jurisdictional approaches and the roles and responsibilities of public institutions, corporations, and individual citizens.

Launched in 2019, the Salzburg Global Law and Technology Forum is creating a high-level, cross-sectoral leadership network connecting technology, law, policy, academia and civil society to consider current challenges and emerging trends. It enhances opportunities for cross-border frameworks; equips judges, regulators, policymakers, and the legal profession to understand new technology; and aligns law and ethics with technological progress.
