Government-Related Holocaust Education/Information

Ministry of Education – Singapore does not mandate the teaching of the Holocaust, nor is it specifically included in their state curriculum.  The history curriculum does include World War II with lessons on tolerance, mutual respect, and racial and ethnic sensitivity.  In addition, the state curriculum at both the primary and secondary levels is centered around civic and moral education, which includes lessons on respect, responsibility, integrity, care, resilience, harmony, and rights and freedoms.  Finally, the social studies curriculum has lessons on peace and harmony.  Singapore has a National Commission for UNESCO.
