On September 12, the South African Holocaust and Genocide Foundation, the Kaplan Centre for Jewish Studies and Research of the University of Cape Town, and UNESCO hosted a conference for students and teachers of the Holocaust.

African Commission and Court on Human and Peoples’ Rights – As of September 2012, the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire has submitted the initial and periodic reports on the country’s human rights situations in a timely manner. It has ratified the Protocol to the African Charter on Human and Peoples’ Rights on the Establishment of an African Court on Human and Peoples’ Rights, so the Court’s judgments of human rights violations and orders for reparations are binding on Côte d’Ivoire.
