SALZBURG GLOBAL FINANCE FORUM

Past Program

The German Constitutional Court’s judgment on the European Central Bank’s QE program, just before the 70th anniversary of the Schuman Declaration, strikes at the European Union’s legal foundations. At a time when COVID-19 is straining EU cohesion and raising concerns over long-term recovery, what risks does this ruling pose for the EU’s institutions and future viability?

Building on the Salzburg Global Finance Forum’s cross-border networks and thought leadership, this webinar will examine the ruling’s long-term consequences for the stability of the Eurozone. Participants will then discuss pathways out of these converging crises to help the EU emerge stronger, more agile and with increased equity and equality across societies and economies.

FORMAT

This moderated webinar will feature a panel of experts from different perspectives and provide interactive opportunities for all participants to pose questions via the chat function.
