To be eligible to join the network, all applicants must:
- Be proficient in English, the working language of the network;
- Be a serving civil servant, working at a regional or national level as it relates to the education of three- to twelve-year-olds;
- Have responsibility for at least one of the following areas at a national or regional (district) level:
- National Education Strategy
- Breadth of Skills (21st century, social, emotional, creative, physical and cognitive) skills
- Teacher Training
- Assessment
- Pre-Primary / Primary Curriculum Design
- Early Years’ Education
- Be committed to and have the ability to participate for the duration of the network as per the schedule;
- Be sufficiently senior within their role to be able to make decisions and advance reforms;
- Have the support of their supervisor to participate in the network
Be either:
- Working in one of the target countries of the network:
- Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brazil, China, Colombia, Denmark, Egypt, Ethiopia, France, Germany, Ghana, Guatemala, India, Iraq, Jordan, Kenya, Lebanon, Mexico, Palestine, Portugal, Rwanda, Serbia, South Africa, South Korea, Tanzania, Uganda, Ukraine, United Kingdom, United States, Vietnam, Zambia.
- Or able to cover the costs of participation.
