CULTURAL INNOVATORS FORUM

About

Cultural Innovators Forum

The Cultural Innovators Forum connects, supports and empowers rising talents in the creative sector across every continent. The network is multi-disciplinary and encompasses creative practices ranging from the visual and performing arts, literature, music, to food, fashion, architecture, and design.

Cultural Innovators are imaginative and disruptive changemakers dedicated to catalyzing the transformative power of the arts for human, societal, and planetary wellbeing. Salzburg Global believes that it is vital to support them because they have the unique potential to:

  • Demonstrate the creative vision, talent, and energy our societies urgently need in a world of rising inequality, polarization, and planetary threats;
  • Provide imaginative and disruptive impulses for civic innovation, social cohesion, and sustainable development at different levels and across sectors;
  • Influence and empower communities, helping people find voice and new forms of expression.

Launched in 2013, the Forum network currently numbers 300+ individuals in more than 20 cities and regions around the world, connected through a dynamic group of Cultural Innovators Hubs. The activities of the Forum are multifaceted, with regular online activities, workshops, and discussions, complemented by local, regional, and global in-person meetings in various parts of the world. The Forum is creative, radical, responsive, and adaptable to changing global circumstances.
