Dieter Krummenacker

Former Senior Vice President, Union Bank Of Switzerland, Zurich

Dieter Krummenacker is former senior vice president of Union Bank of Switzerland, now UBS, in Zurich. An economist by formation, Dr. Krummenacker initially worked for the Economic Research Department of UBS. During his 35 years with the Bank, he held many different positions. He was chief of staff for UBS chairman Nikolaus Senn and, before that, chief of staff for the International Division of Union Bank of Switzerland. Before joining this division, Dr. Krummenacker was the president of the Bank representative offices in New York and head of the Securities Administration Unit in their head office in Zurich. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Basel and studied engineering at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis and St. Paul, and at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Zurich.
