Helene Schuberth is senior advisor at the National Bank of Austria. In 2007 and 2008 she served as an economic policy adviser to the prime minister of Austria. Between 1999 and 2007 she was deputy head of the Economic Analysis Division of the National Bank of Austria. She studied economics and social sciences at the University of Vienna and Harvard. Her research interests include monetary and fiscal policies, structural and labour market policies, financial governance and macroeconomic coordination. In 2006, she co-edited the book "The Political Economy of Financial Market Regulation: The Dynamics of Inclusion and Exclusion" (Edward Elgar). She is also co-editor of the book "Economic Policy under Uncertainty: The Role of Truth and Accountability in Policy Advice" (2004, Edward Elgar).
