Clemens Börsig served as chairman of the Supervisory Board of Deutsche Bank AG from May 2006 to May 2012 and previously as a member of its Management Board. He currently sits on the bank's European Advisory Board, as well as on the Supervisory Boards of Bayer AG, Daimler AG and Linde AG, and on the Board of Directors of Emerson Electric Co. He is also a trustee of the International Financial Reporting Standards Foundation. Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, Dr. Börsig held top management positions at RWE AG, Bosch GmbH and Mannesmann Group. He studied business administration and mathematics at Mannheim University, from where he graduated with a Ph.D. Dr. Börsig holds an honorary professorship from Munich University.
