Elena is a leading strategist on culture, creativity, and innovation with more than 20 years of professional experience. Since July 2019, she is the Advisor on Arts and Culture to the office of the Prime Minister of Greece, collaborating closely with the General Secretariat of the Government, the Ministry of Culture and the Foresight Team. Since 2014, she is also acting as a facilitator and advocate for the support of the cultural and creative industries in Greece, engaged in cross sectoral collaboration and relevant policymaking. Elena's experience includes leading and advising roles in programs related to access to employment, entrepreneurship, and cultural integration for migrants and vulnerable communities. Her daughter Hara, which in Greek means "Joy", is her inspiration and best travel companion. She studied Art History and English Literature and continued her studies in Museum Management, Strategy and Innovation, and Strategic Leadership. Elena is a Fellow of Salzburg Global Seminar.
