Bo Peng is vice dean and professor at the School of International and Public Affairs, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. In previous positions, he was a Fulbright scholar at Columbia University and deputy director of the Policy Research Center, Yangpu CCP committee, Shanghai. Dr. Peng has also been adjunct associate professor at the School of International and Public Affairs, Columbia University and visiting scholar in the Asia-Europe Center, Science-Po, Paris. Additionally, he has been visiting fellow at the Asian Research Center of the London School of Economics, U.K., as well as senior associate member at St Antony's College, Oxford University.
His research interests include local politics and urban public policy. He holds a Ph.D. in political science from Fudan University as well as an M.A. in comparative politics and a B.A. in public administration from Jilin University.
