Patricia Vazquez

Education Consultant, Mexico

Patricia Vazquez has worked as independent educational consultant with various civil organizations in Mexico related to education, empowerment, social gaps and poverty for 10 years. She has been a play ambassador of Lego Foundation since 2018. She is specialized in pedagogical and political implementations to reduce education backlog and experienced in designing integral projects to reduce poverty. She has worked in education programs for FLACSO and the Latin American Institute for Communication and Information in Education (ILCE). Previously, Patricia was a board member of the National Institute for Evaluation in Education (INEE), head of the Ministry of Public Education of the State of Puebla from 2015 to 2018, and worked for the public education system In Mexico for more than 15 years in various positions. She holds a degree in pedagogy from Universidad Panamericana (UP), a diploma in public policies for social development in Mexico from the Center for Research, Economics and Teaching (CIDE), a diploma in global governance from the German Development Institute (DIE), a master's degree in comparative public policies from the Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences (FLACSO).
