Javier Rojas is consultant at SIMO consulting and other consulting firms specializing in education and security. His publications have analyzed the design and implementation of educational policies. Prior to working as a consultant, Javier was assistant professor at the Center for Research and Teaching Economics (CIDE) in Mexico City and director of research of Mexicanos Primero, an advocacy organization focused on public education. Javier Rojas was senior advisor to the secretary of public education and the chief of staff of the Executive Office of the President in Mexico City. He holds a Ph.D. and a M.A. degree in sociology from the University of Texas at Austin and a B.A. in political science from CIDE.
