Ioana Biris was trained as a medical doctor in Romania and is now a hands-on social psychologist and consultant based in Amsterdam. Because of her interests in environmental psychology, and specifically the human-urban green relationship, she co-founded Nature Desks in 2017. Nature Desks is about connecting urban nature, work and wellbeing and redesigning our relationship with urban green spaces through events, content, products, and placemaking. Together with Urban Good, she produced #UrbanNatureAmsterdam, the green and blue map of the city. On June the 18th, the pilot of the first Outdoor Office Day will take place in Utrecht, The Netherlands.
