Daniel Gorfine is the senior program counsel of the 2023 Salzburg Global Finance Forum. He is the founder of Gattaca Horizons LLC, a boutique advisory firm. Daniel also currently serves as an adjunct professor of law at the Georgetown University Law Center, is a co-founder of the Digital Dollar Project, and serves as a senior policy advisor to the Financial Technology Association. He was previously the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission's first chief innovation officer and director of LabCFTC. A graduate of Brown University (A.B.), Daniel holds a J.D. from George Washington University Law School and an M.A. from the Paul H. Nitze School for Advanced International Studies at Johns Hopkins University. He is a Fellow of Salzburg Global Seminar.
