Daniele Guglielmino is a registered architect and senior sustainability specialist of cities and communities at GBCI Europe. He supports public and private stockholders in developing policies and strategies oriented to sustainability, resilience, health, and wellness at the urban scale, focusing on Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) for Cities and Communities program. His professional activity focuses on sustainability rating systems for buildings and cities and how they impact on the Italian and European market as a driver to grow market awareness. He is a promoter of the first European certification under LEED® for Cities and Communities, achieved with the City of Savona, Italy. He previously worked as senior sustainability specialist and building physics line manager at Manens-Tifs s.p.a, Italy. He was a founding member of the Italian chapter of the International Building Performance Simulation Association in 2010. Daniele is committed to public outreach about sustainability, health and wellness, and he is the author of around fifty scientific and technical publications. He graduated summa cum laude in 2007 from the Polytechnic University of Turin, with a Ph.D. in technological innovation for the built environment.
