Ariel Hamilton

Ariel Hamilton is a student at Nevada State College with a major in special education and a minor in deaf studies. In February 2019, she recently presented at the Far West Popular Conference Association Conference on mass incarceration victims in popular media. Throughout her academic career, Ariel has become proficient in American Sign Language (ASL), broadened her awareness of individuals with disabilities, and learned about the inequalities that minority and deaf students face in the American education system. Ariel is currently the president of the Black Student Organization on her campus. Once she completes her bachelor's dgree, Ariel plans on continuing her education and obtaining a master's degree in special education.
