Leena Alanko works as a senior consultant for Demos Helsinki and specializes in creating activities to support individuals' well-being and healthy lives. Leena has varied experience in leading projects supporting health and wellbeing at various levels and across sectors, especially with public sector organizations and NGOs, using foresight and co-creation. Her projects include vision work for the Finnish Ministry of Education and Culture, strategy work for Finland's biggest pharmacy chain, and scenario work for EHYT - the Finnish Association for Substance Abuse Prevention. Her "Good life in Jamppa" project for the city of Järvenpää, to create services supporting the wellbeing of Jamppa residents, was presented at WHO's International Healthy Cities Conference Belfast in October 2018. Leena spent a year studying at the École normale supérieure (Paris), and has a master's in sociology, graduating from the University of Helsinki.
