Hassina Sherjan

Hassina Sherjan is the founder and chief executive officer of Aid Afghanistan for Education, since 1996. She is a consummated professional with over thirty years of thorough knowledge of experience in education, business, communication and journalism, and co-author of 'Toughing It Out in Afghanistan', published in 2011. She published various op-eds in New York Times, Washington Post, Guardian, USA Today and more. Hassina received the International Alliance for Women World of Difference Award 2012. She received a master's degree in public administration from Harvard Kennedy School and an honorary doctorate degree in Law from Queen's University, Canada.
