Leslee Udwin is the founder and CEO of THINK EQUAL, which is bringing about a global system change in education ensuring that social and emotional learning takes its rightful place as the core purpose of early years' education. Think Equal currently operates in 13 countries. Think Equal is a movement as well as a concrete SEL ECD program which has proven concept (evaluated by Yale Centre for Emotional Intelligence) and has started to roll out to whole districts across 5 continents. It addresses 9 of the 17 SDG's and has been designed by world experts in the field. This work led Leslee to be voted by the NY Times the No 2 Most Impactful Woman of 2015 (second to Hillary Clinton), and she has been awarded the prestigious Swedish Anna Lindh Human Rights Prize (previously won by Madeleine Albright), as well as this year's recipient of the UN Women for Peace Activist Award.
