Liam Duffy

Director, SINCE 9/11, UK

Liam Duffy is the director of SINCE 9/11, a London-based educational charity founded on the 10th anniversary of the September 11th attacks. Liam specializes in supporting a range of organizations to respond to the issue of radicalization and extremism. In his role, Liam trained the UK Government's national Prevent (Counter-Terrorism) Education Officer Network and major national charities on radicalization. Prior to joining SINCE 9/11, he worked as a region manager for Crimestoppers, the UK's only crime-fighting charity. He was a key liaison for police forces in the east of England and worked on campaigns ranging from modern slavery to most wanted reward appeals. Liam is a member of the National Counter-Terrorism Police Independent Advisory Group and has supported the Mayor of London's Office CVE team in their youth engagement. He holds a B.A. in history and a M.A. in civilization, terrorism and dissent.
