Lisa Morgan

Technical Officer - Health Actuary, International Labour Organization, Switzerland

Lisa Morgan currently works for the International Labour Organization's Social Finance Program, which sits within the ILO's Enterprises Department, committed to sustainable enterprises for decent work. With an emphasis on social justice, the Social Finance Program is focused on financial inclusion, and reducing vulnerability through access to appropriate risk management services. As a UK qualified health actuary, Lisa provides expertise on health financing mechanisms in the private and public sectors, change management, actuarial analysis, m-Health solutions, and strategy. She has worked in both developed and developing countries. Lisa is passionate about finding innovative measures that could help achieve the UN's Sustainable Development Goal three on good health and well-being, and how within the world of work, enterprises can play a more active role in prevention and wellness. Originally from South Africa, Lisa worked for 16 years in the UK for PricewaterhouseCoopers and Milliman before joining the ILO in 2015. Lisa is a Fellow of the UK's Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.
