Xiyu Yang

Vice President, The Boao Forum for Asia, Beijing

Xiyu Yang is a senior research fellow at China Institute of International Studies (CIIS). He is also the vice president of the Research Institute of Boao Forum for Asia. From 2005 to 2007, Mr. Yang was a visiting scholar in the Department of Political Science, Stanford University, USA. Previously, he served as director of the Office of Korean Peninsula Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China. Mr. Yang enjoys special allowance from the State Council, the Chinese Central Government. He holds a B.A. in English language and literature from Liaoning Normal University, China and an M.A. in international relations from University of International Relations, China.
