Ekaterina Rybakova

Co-founder and President, Rybakov Foundation, Russia

Ekaterina Rybakova is the co-founder and president of the Rybakov Foundation. She was born in Nizhny Tagil, Russia in a family of metallurgical engineers. After graduating from the Physics & Technical School of the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT), she enrolled at the radio-technical department of the Ural Polytechnic Institute. A year later she left the Institute and enrolled at the Saint Petersburg State University of Technology and Design with a specialization in 'garment manufacturing engineering'. After graduating, she moved to Moscow. She received her second degree as a fashion designer. Following the birth of her first child, she left the job and focused on her family and bringing up her four children. She has supported her husband in his philanthropic endeavors becoming a co-founder, Board member, and later president of the Rybakov Foundation.
