Kwiri Yang

Kwiri Yang is the founder and CEO of LifeGyde, a digitized software platform specialized in social-emotional learning creating a safe, convenient, confidential space where the next generation of young people can seek life guidance and support. Kwiri has an extensive experience with startups which include building and selling four impact companies. She bootstrapped her first company at the age 16 generating over $3M in profit, hiring and managing over 100 employees while in college. Her companies have a track record of helping over 2,000 small and medium businesses. Kwiri has over 15+ years of experience in both private and public sector and is well versed in entrepreneurial principles, business strategy, and technology implementation. She was appointed as the youngest board director of Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce, Southern California's largest not-for-profit business federation, representing the interests of more than 235,000 businesses in Los Angeles. She led various initiatives representing and creating platforms for the next generation. As the board president and chair of Los Angeles Junior Chamber of Commerce, she spearheaded the merger and partnership with the LA Area Chamber of Commerce and founded NextLA, the young professional division of the Chamber. Kwiri holds a bachelor's degree from the University of California, Los Angeles. She grew up in Port Vila, Vanuatu, until she moved to Los Angeles.
