Vikki De Los Reyes

Public Health Specialist and FETP Program Manager, Philippines/U.S.A.

Vikki Carr D. de los Reyes is a public health specialist in applied epidemiology. In 2013, she became FETP program manager to help raise a cadre of "disease detectives" in the Philippines. She has directly supervised 22 field epidemiologists and around 150 field investigations (64 international presentations). Also, she designs and manages the DOH Event-based Surveillance and Response activities, the International Health Regulations (IHR) notification arm, and the source of field work for FETP Fellows in DOH. She has managed Health Information Systems, disease surveillance, outbreak investigations and disaster response, and designs and supervises applied health management activities through the Field Management Training Program of DOH. In 2004, she worked in the Epidemiology Bureau of the Philippines Department of Health (DOH) as a Field Epidemiology Training Program (FETP) Fellow. In 2008, she did the Management in International Public Health (MIPH), a course for planning and managing public health programs, by Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Atlanta, USA.
