Molly Rose Quinn is a native of Memphis, Tennessee and since 2019 has served as the executive director of OUTMemphis: the LGBTQ+ Center for the Mid-South. Her work at OUTMemphis includes overseeing programs like its community-driven HIV prevention, education, and linkage-to-care program and its holistic solution to LGBTQ+ youth homelessness, which is among the country's largest providers on this issue. Before coming to OUTMemphis, Molly lived and worked in New York City supporting writers and artists through directing programs at a range of cultural institutions. From 2014- 2017, she served as the director of public programs at Housing Works Bookstore Cafe, a community event venue that raises money for NYC's largest service provider for individuals experiencing homelessness and living with HIV/AIDS. She also worked on a number of major book festivals including the Brooklyn Book Festival (2014 - 2017) and the Memphis Literary Arts Festival (2018). As a writer, her essays, poetry, and profiles have appeared in a range of print and digital publications, and she holds an M.F.A. in Poetry from Sarah Lawrence College.
