Wilfried Wieden is a professor of linguistics in the Department of English at the University of Salzburg. His fields of research include knowledge representation, cross-cultural knowledge communication and knowledge management. In cooperation with business consultants and software developers, he has done project work for export-oriented business organizations, mainly in the automotive and steel industry. Dr. Wieden most currently published two articles on corporate linguistics and varieties of language use in the context of knowledge management. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Salzburg.
