Lindsey Goldin is Senior Communication Studies student at Emerson College. She has been involved with Radio and Broadcast Journalism for almost four years and has worked for two public radio stations, as a Music Director for 88.9 WERS FM, in Boston and as a Programmer for 88.5 WXPN'S "World Cafe", an NPR-syndicated program from Philadelphia. Lindsey currently interns at a the Community Dispute and Settlement Center in Boston, where she and her colleagues train mediators and offer pro-bono mediation for members of the community. Lindsey hopes to learn more about how we can protect the rights of journalists and she would like to learn how we can become better advocates for public broadcasting conglomerates.
