Nicoletta Iacobacci is a widely-respected influencer specialized in ethics and emerging technologies. She currently serves as adjunct professor at Webster University, Geneva, and as a senior lecturer at Jinan University, in Guangzhou, China, where she teaches a course titled Future Human - The New Species. Iacobacci is the founder of Ethica.ly, a platform created to inspire technologists, innovators, creators, and thinkers in the production of human-centered and human-infused technology to consider all aspects of ethics. She established the Hyperloop Transportation Technology's ethical framework while writing her first book Exponential Ethics and is an advisor at Singularity University, a Silicon Valley think tank. In an editorial for the World Government Summit in Dubai, Iacobacci indicated this would be the "most pioneering decade in history," and ethics had to keep up. Between 2012 and 2014, Iacobacci served as head of strategy and future media at the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), overseeing the organization's future media activities and defining the strategy for the EBU Media Lab. Iacobacci received her Ph.D. on Ethics, Media and Exponentially Growing Technologies from the European Graduate School in 2015, a B.A. in fine arts and has worked as a reporter/producer covering the US and Central America.
