Lynn El Jbeily

Lynn El Jbeily was born in Beirut-Lebanon. She is currently a senior at the Lebanese American University, majoring in TV-Film and minoring in Performing Arts and Audiovisual - Production. She has worked in LAU as a videographer, website coordinator for the communication arts department and has been working for two years as the social media manager of the LAU Comm account. Lynn has also worked as a social media manager in the Media Digital Literacy Academy of Beirut in the years 2016 and 2017. She was also the photographer of the first conference of The Association of Media Educators in Lebanon (MEDLEB). Lynn started playing piano at the age of six and singing at the age of seven. She went to the Lebanese National higher conservatory of Music (LNHCM) in 2007 to pursue her degree in Classical piano and Classical Chant (Opera). In 2016, she recorded a song called "In my hand" written by Michelle and Noel Keserwany that talked about gender equality, with the help of the LAU Institute for women studies in the Arab World (IWSAW). Lynn edited and directed some short films like "Rehlat El Mawt", "The author" and she is currently shooting a documentary for the IWSAW about Dr. Julinda Abou Nassar.
