Frosse Dabit

Senior Education Program Specialist, UNRWA, Jordan

Frosse Dabit is a senior education program specialist at the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) Headquarters in Amman, leading on UNRWA's education in emergencies program. From 2012 to 2015, Frosse worked as an education core competency specialist for the Norwegian Refugee Council Office (NRC) in Lebanon, where she led on the development and scale-up of the NRC Lebanon education program both for the Syrian and Palestinian response. She also worked as an education program specialist for UNRWA between 2011-2012, where she led on the development and implementation of key programs within the framework of the organization's ongoing education reform process. This included significant work on the emergency response to the Syrian crisis. Prior to joining UNRWA, Frosse worked for UNESCO as an education program specialist between 2007-2011, where she developed and supervised programs in teacher education and educational planning in support of the Palestinian education system. Between 2000 and 2006, she held several posts at the Palestinian Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE).
