Vidya Bhushan Soni is chairman of the Overseas Infrastructure Alliance (India) Pvt. Ltd. New Delhi. He is a retired Indian foreign service officer with a career spanning over 35 years and has served as ambassador of India to over a dozen countries, including Ukraine, Jamaica and Senegal. Ambassador Soni initiated and expanded diplomatic relations with various heads of states and governments, senior most government officials, and dignitaries, as ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary/ high commissioner of India. He represented India and often headed official delegations to many international conferences. An alumnus of Balliol College, University of Oxford, United Kingdom, he also studied at the Universities of Delhi and Allahabad.
