Brian Bingham is a strategy and monitoring and evaluation specialist with the Higher Education Solutions Network at USAID, a program designed to harness the ingenuity and research of universities towards development advances that will improve how international aid projects are administered in developing countries. He is in charge of helping to shape future iterations of the program. Brian is a former science policy fellow at the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS). He is a neuro-pharmacologist by training with an academic interest in how exposure to stress hormones during critical developmental windows can create long-term changes in the way the brain deals with later stressful challenges.
