T. Jeremy Gunn is a University Professor of Law and Political Science at the International University of Rabat, Morocco. He was also the research director for FRAME that focuses in EU research on human rights policies and is a member of the Editorial Board for Religion and Human Rights: An International Journal. Previously he was an associate professor of international studies at Al Akhawayn University, Morocco. Jeremy has worked for many human rights organizations including the American Civil Liberties Union as the director of the Program on Freedom of Religion and Belief, and as a Senior Fellow for Religion and Human Rights. Throughout his professional life Jeremy has focused on religion, politics, and human rights and has published several books and reports including, Interacting Civilizations: A History of Muslim Societies from the Mediterranean Basin to the Iranian Plateau (2015), No Establishment of Religion: America's Original Contribution to Religious Liberty, edited with John Witte, Jr. (2012), and Spiritual Weapons: The Cold War and the Forging of an American National Religion (2009). Jeremy earned his B.A. in International relations and Humanities from Brigham Young University, his J.D. from Boston University School of Law, and his Ph.D. from Harvard University where he also earned the Gilbert Chinard Award and the Center for Europe Studies Grant.
