Vincent Chriqui

Mayor, City of Bourgoin-Jallieu, France

Vincent Chriqui is Mayor of Bourgoin-Jallieu, a city of 28,000 in Isère, close to Lyon, as well as vice-president of the CAPI group of cities (in charge of mobility) and vice-president of the Isère department (in charge of the ecological transition). Previously, Mr. Chriqui has held several positions in higher administration including: Deputy Secretary General in Charge of the Recovery Plan, Head of Mission of the General Economic Council, project manager in charge of public sector reform at the Ministry of Finance, auditor at the National Audit Office, general director of the Center for Strategic Analysis, parliamentary advisor to the Prime Minister, and chief of staff to the Minister for Work, Employment and Training. Mr. Chriqui has also been active in national politics, as campaign manager for François Fillon, candidate for the French Presidency, in 2017, and head of the political project of Xavier Bertrand, candidate for the French Presidency in 2022. Mr. Chriqui is a graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique and the Ecole Nationale d'Administration. Vincent is a Fellow of Salzburg Global Seminar.
