Arjimand Wani

Fellow, Genocide Prevention Program, Holocaust Memorial Museum, India

Arjimand Hussain Wani is a fellow of the Genocide Prevention Program of the Holocaust Memorial Museum. He was born and brought up in the Indian- administered Kashmir. After working in 16 countries across Asia and Africa, designing and managing a wide range of development and humanitarian programs, Arjimand returned to his homeland in 2018 and founded J&K Economic Conclave (www.jkeconclave.com). He has contributed three chapters to the UNESCO- APCEIU's Culture for Peace curriculum for the Asia-Pacific region. He is the author of Averting Catastrophic India-Pakistan War, and Omar Abdullah: The Burden of Inheritance. Arjimand has a bachelor's degree in engineering from Bangalore University, India, and a diploma in journalism from the Management Policy Promotion Institute in New Delhi, India. He is a Fellow of Salzburg Global Seminar.
