Dave Eassa

Dave Eassa is a visual artist and organizer in Baltimore, Maryland. He has had solo exhibitions regionally, at Space Gallery, Portland, ME, and at School 33 Art Center, Baltimore, MD. He has exhibited in group exhibitions nationally and internationally, most notably at Signal gallery, Brooklyn, New York; LVL3 gallery, Chicago, IL; Marianne Boeksky, New York; Reh Kunst, Berlin, Germany; artSTRAND, Provincetown, Massachusetts; and Sophiajacob, Baltimore, Maryland. He is the manager of community engagement at the Baltimore Museum of Art working on initiatives that challenge and question what it means to be a museum in present day Baltimore. He serves on the board of advisors for Baltimore Youth Arts and Baltimore Dance Crews Project, and the programs committee for the Baltimore Museum of Industry. He was an Open Society Institute Baltimore Community fellow. He also founded the program Free Space which brings the arts to the Maryland Prison system.
