Bas Pauw is director of the International Writer´s Program at the Foundation for the Production and Translation of Dutch Literature (NLPVF). His main activities for the Foundation include the International Writers Program, dealing with Dutch authors performing abroad, and the Visitors Program (foreign editors visiting Amsterdam). From 1991 to 1994 he was organizing literary events for the Amsterdam Foundation Perdu, before joining the publishing company Prometheus / Bert Bakker in 1996 as an editor. Mr. Pauw studied Dutch literature at the universities of Nijmegen and Amsterdam.
