Sofie Hörtler is a second year media management student from Vienna, Austria. Her biggest passion is traveling and getting to know other people to better understand how economics, business and politics function together. She already did four international stays; once in California, US as a high school student, once in Les Sables d'Olonne, France as a summer intern in a hotel, once in Madrid, Spain as a journalism intern and the most recent one in Valencia, Spain as an Erasmus student at university. Her high school years in Austria focused on international communication in business, with English being the main language of instruction. She worked one year as the supervisor of the indoor sales team of a business travel agency in Vienna. She is currently employed by her university, assisting with events and online marketing activities and also has a profound event catering experience. Additionally, she has a strong interest for political and world affairs. In her free time, she's passionate about sports, photography and traveling.
